Probably the simplest way is to insert a text box (Insert Text Box) or a frame (a frame button is on the Forms toolbar) and put the number inside, then position the box where you want it. You can use an Advance field, or an Equation field with a combination of \d and \s switches -- see the help topics on "Field codes: Advance field" and "Field codes: Eq (Equation) field", respectively. Either of these will be more difficult than the box method. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
