Where can I obtain a copy of Word 3000??

And I'm not sure which is the Lambda sign but you'll probably find it in
Insert | Symbols. Select Normal Text font and Subset Basic Greek. I'm sure
it's listed in there somewhere.

Good luck!

suggest using Autocorrect function
using, for example:
CHANGE qw (or some other unlikely keystroke sequence
to
the lambda symbol.

Try this in a blank document first:

1. Type "039b" (that's zero three nine b) and don't type the quotes.
2. With your cursor next to the "b", press ALT + X. This will convert the
code (039b) into the lamda character.

You can look up such characters in the INSERT | SYMBOL menu option in word.
