Adobe acrobat conflicts with Word
Apparently it was not installed successfully after all, or it has not been
updated to the version that integrates with Word correctly. Take a look in the Word Startup folder (c:\Documents and Settings\[User
Name]\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\Start Up) and you will probably see a template that you can identify with being something to do with Adobe Acrobat. What it is probably intended to do is put some buttons on the toolbar that you probably don't need, so move it to some other location. -- Hope this helps.
