Word prints the wrong page in a range on a booklet formatted doc
I created a 180 page document on half-letter sized pages which I formatted as
"Bood Fold" or a booklet. It prints out fine (manual duplex) if you print the entire booklet at once. But when I try to select one page or one sheet to print, it does not print the page that I specify in the "range" window. I chose page 89 to print and it prints out pages 135 and 136 (on opposite sides of the page. I tried this with the same document on two computers, each with a different printer, and it does the same thing. Anybody else encountered this problem and solved it? |

Do you have section breaks entered in your document? you might see if "page
86" is really section 86. For that you pring s86 in the "print what" box. "sciz" wrote: I created a 180 page document on half-letter sized pages which I formatted as "Bood Fold" or a booklet. Tamarakay is right for a work around, but I recommend fixing the problem.
But to do so is a tedious method, you have to go to each page or at least the range of pages where the problems are and correct/re-due the headers and footers and page breaks. One of those is off and is messing up the proceeding pages. -- Top Notch Admin "sciz" wrote: I created a 180 page document on half-letter sized pages which I formatted as "Bood Fold" or a booklet. There are no section changes in the document. On the 180th and last page of
the document, the page counter in the bottom margin of the Word frame says that I am in Section 1. However, I did use page breaks throughout the document. Can page breaks interfere with the page counter? "Michael_Corral" wrote: Tamarakay is right for a work around, but I recommend fixing the problem. It is all one section. There are page breaks but no section breaks.
I appreciate your trying to help me with this, however. ------------------------- "tamarakay" wrote: Do you have section breaks entered in your document? you might see if "page 86" is really section 86.
