Cross referencing - Mail Merge Document
My mail merge document contains cross referencing to paragraph numbers some
of which are contained in "if statements" and when the document merges my cross referencing does not update correctly, it simply refers to paragraph "1" if it was in an if statement. Is there any way that I can use cross referencing in a mail merge document if the referenced paragraph is in an "if statement"? -- Lozza |

Cross referencing - Mail Merge Document
There are a number of fields that do not survive the execution of mail
merge. The way around the problem is the unlink the fields in the mailmerge main document before executing the mailmerge. To do that it will probably be necessary to select the cross reference field within the If...then...Else field and use Ctrl+Shift+F9 to unlink it. -- Hope this helps.
