Why do I get a dot each time I press the space bar?
Whilst typing in Word, each time I press the space bar, I get a full stop but
at hyphen level. Why is this? I've looked through different settings such as "track changes" to see if I've switched something on that I don't need, but can't find anything. It's really frustrating. |

explanation of why you might sometimes want to be able to see these nonprinting characters or formatting marks. -- Suzanne S.
