Default How can I share a template that is proteced from a PC to a Mac?

I have a template I want to setup with the setting for Styles protected. When
I do that, the Mac users cannot change the document and we need them to make
changes just not add any new styles.

Please let me know if this is possible.

I'm no MAC-Word user, but I reckon this is difficult at best.

Protection for styles was a new feature in Word 2003 IIRC.

Your best bet is to go to one of the macoffice forums/newsgroups, and
make sure you specify the versions of Win- and Mac-Word you're using.
