embeded object(scanned) TO CORRECTABLE TEXT
Normal scans create *pictures* & in order to extract as editable text you
need Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software. Something probably came with the scanner - check your documentation. Another possibility may be a program called MS Office Document Imaging which can be found in the MS Office Tools folder depending on what version of Office you have. If you supply more detail when you post it would help in providing more specific replies HTH |:) Bob Jones [MVP] Office:Mac On 5/5/07 4:06 PM, in article , "need2no" wrote: change embeded object (text) to correctable text |
