Default Page Break

dear community

can community kindly assist me on these few "strange" encounters?

a) When I personally create a Page Break by using Ctrl+enter, and at Normal
view, I able to click on the Page Break (Hard Break) and press "del" from
keyboard, the Page Break is easily deleted. However, at work place, I
received a document and after doing some modification and wanted to delete
off a Page Break (believe it is an enforce break because I can see the
description "Page Break" with dotted line drawn across it), but to no avail.
The Page Break just could not be delete off. Can someboday in community
please help me to understand why it could not be deleted and what I should
do, I am totally lost over this . - thanks

b) Another strange encountering is, after formatting 5 lines of text using
Number lists, and as I wanted to do an Underline on the listed texts, the
"Underline" format line was extented to the "Numbering list". and the strange
thing is, this only happen on certain part of the document. Can community
please help me to understand why? thanks

c) this situation also similar task as question "b", while doing Numbering
lists, at time when I wanted to extent the listing and when I please the
Enter key, the next following list number does not appear. (example: when I
already had 3 lists and wanted the create another one, 4th, the numbering "4"
does not appear. ?) - thanks

thanks alot to community to being helpful

Default Page Break

Hi ?B?dGlrY2h5ZV9vbGRMZWFybmVyNTc=?=,

You should try posting your second and third questions again, in a separate
message. It helps if you keep question topics in separate message threads, as
some people who might have an idea about one question will hesitate to answer
if they can't answer additional questions. I'm going to take a guess at your
first question...

It's really difficult to answer something like this if one hasn't worked with
the document. Sometimes, a paragraph mark or a page break may get "protected"
if something like a table or a graphic is associated with that paragraph.
Sometimes, if you press ENTER a couple of times before the Break you're trying
to delete, it can help.
