automatically capitalizing word following letter plus a period
Word will not capitalize the first word after a letter followed by a period.
Example Q. Now. The word "now" will not automatically capitalize. I type Q. and A. in my text all the time Is there any way to automatically do this. I can only do it manually with the shift key which is a real pain. This also happens after a number followed by a period. Example 1. Now. The word "now" is not capitalized. |

If you look in the Exceptions in Tools | AutoCorrect Options, you'll
probably find a. and q. You can try deleting these entries, though there have been reports that even this doesn't help. -- Suzanne S. I've tried this and it doesn't change it. I read that this is a known
problem. I just wondered if anyone knows when there will be a work around for it. "Suzanne S.
