Default There is a pause when I repeat keystrokes and the typing is slow.

I was working on a Word document and a window came up offering a feature
which slows down the typing and helps prevent redundant keystrokes. I meant
to cancel the feature but activated it instead. It is so annoying. It is
difficult to repeat keystrokes (like in the word "difficult"). How can I turn
this feature off?

Click on Start | Control Panel | Accessibility Options | Keyboard |
uncheck the "Use FilterKeys" box | OK.
