How do I change the default format in Word?
I would like to set up my Word page so that it opens a new document with the
same footer each time (file path and page number). I have tried saying "yes" I want it saved, but the next time I open Word it is gone. Now it's suddenly decided to open all my documents with two columns. Is this a styles thing? A format thing? Help please! |

Do NOT do this. It will have unforseen consequences (eg when producing
labels). Create a new template with the footer information and use that for documents that require the footer.
