How do I obtain a list of words used in a Word document?
My subject line defines my question. How do I obtain a list of words used in
a Word document. The word processor I used in the late 80's had such a feature I have not been able to find in Office Word. I am running Windows XP and MS Office 2003. |

How do I obtain a list of words used in a Word document?
There's no built-in function for it. There are macros available around the
place, or to do it manually -- Make a copy of the document. Use Find & Replace to remove all non-text matter (punctuation marks etc) Use Find & Replace to convert all spaces to paragraph marks Copy and Paste into Excel Do unique sort "Redfish" wrote in message ...
