We have a long document, with many sections and a TOC. I have tried to make
Chapter names that work with page numbering so that each section would have
1-1, 1-2, 1-3 page numbering, that starts anew for each section. (Like
Section 2 would have 2-1, 2-2, etc). Have followed instructions in MS Help
and steps found by searching knowledge base. Can't seem to get the doc to
recognize any kind of Chapter name or number. I need help on how to set up
Chapter names or numbers, that will be then be used in page numbering and
TOC.

You have to use a built-in heading style with auto numbering. See
