Using a laptop. No problem with the touchpad. This often happens when I'm

It's still caused by the touch pad - the vibrations of the keyboard is
what causes the cursor to jump. I have the same problem on mine and I've lowered the sensitivity as far as it will go. My workaround is to use an external keyboard. :-( Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Very many thanks Beth. First logical explanation that would link the
touchpad to the problem. Also, your suggestion to lower the sinsitivity - sounds right. I'll try it. Nonetheless it is odd that with the huge number of laptops using MS Word - the problem seems to worry so FEW? It happens in all applications on my laptop - it isn't limited to
Word. Perhaps you notice it more because you type more in Word? ~Beth Melton "Leo" wrote in message ... Very many thanks Beth. First logical explanation that would link the touchpad to the problem. Thanks for the info. It happens to me too. I thought it was something I was
doing. It really is a pain especially if you don't notice it right away. Donna "Beth Melton" wrote: It happens in all applications on my laptop - it isn't limited to Word.
