Word asking to save when no changes were made.
After opening a word document and NOT making any changes, Word asks if I want
to save changes when trying to close the document. How do I stop it from doing this. I am using Windows XP with SP2 and Office XP. Thank you |

I'm having this same problem with one of my users. I would love to know how
to turn this off also. "JehJeh" wrote: After opening a word document and NOT making any changes, Word asks if I want to save changes when trying to close the document. How do I stop it from doing this. I am using Windows XP with SP2 and Office XP. Thank you |

I tried this and it seems to work for each individual document. How do I turn
off smart tags for all documents? I don't want to have to open each word document and turn off the smart tags. "KC Financial" wrote: When I turned off all the Smart Tags the message box went away.
