Default Formatting numbers in mail merge

Hi all,

I am using Office XP and am trying to format an averaged field from an
Excel spreadsheet for use in the mail merge in Word. I have tried
MAILMERGE FinalGrade \#0.00, but obviously this is not right. Any
hints how to do this?

Thank in advance

Wade
