Default Table of Contents Entry goes onto 2nd line

I have a table of contents that has one entry that is more than one line. I
cannot figure out how to make the second line of the entry have the leader
periods and be right justified with the page number?

Also, do you know how to make the period leaders end a couple spaces earlier
than normal.

Apply a right indent to the TOC style so that the first line will wrap short
of the tab stop.

Change the styles to move the tab setting? That's what I would try.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do this except manually, and you have to
do it after editing is complete and you can unlink the TOC. It requires that
you set an extra tab stop somewhat to the left of the right margin (far
enough to clear the longest page number), then insert an additional tab
character in each TOC entry. The first tab stop (the one before the page
numbers) has the period leader, and the page number tab stop has none. I
reiterate, however, that you can't do this as long as you still need to
update the TOC because every time you update it, the extra tabs will be lost
(unless you work out a way to include them in the document headings and use
the appropriate switch to preserve them in the TOC).
