Default Paragraph styles and page break

Hello,

I came across with the following problem:
I use office XP and the heading 1,2,3 styles but when i came acoross the
following text:

1. Title 1 (Heading 1)
2. Title 2 (Heading 1)

and i try to seprate between thees two rows with a page break (going to the
second row, "home", and cntrl+enter), the last line in the first page (where
Title 1 resides) is linked somehow to the first line in the second page. what
is the correct method to insert such page break ?

thanks, eyal

Hi eyal-

The Heading 1 Style includes the paragraph attribute 'Keep with Next' so it
doesn't get separated from the body text that normally follows. You can
either modify the H1 style or create another like it that doesn't include
the Keep with Next. If that is the only occurrence (and you aren't relying
on styles for TOC, etc.), you could also just go to FormatParagraphLine &
Page Breaks and turn it off for that paragraph.

Use page break before formatting rather than manual page breaks where
possible. Page breaks are inside of the following paragraph.
