Updating cross-references in text boxes?
Greetings,
I typically update the cross-references in a document through Ctrl-A (select all) followed by F9. However, this does not update any cross-references I have in text boxes. Is there a way to make a global 'update' of all cross-references? Thanks! |

Updating cross-references in text boxes?
Use the macro in the following article (by Graham Mayor) to update all
of the fields in a document: http://gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm. Alternatively, you can convert the text boxes to frames, whose contents will be included when you Select All. (You can use the Convert to Frame button on the Text Box tab of Format | Text Box.) Note that if you are using linked text boxes, you cannot replace them with frames. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "JAnderson" wrote in message ...
