Word 2007 should make the Help feature more apparent
I am beta testing Word 2007. Let me first say it looks excellent, so good job
Office team. I did find that the help feature was not as easy to find when needed. I have been used to seeing the search box for "Help" in the top right of the software for a while and now I do not see it anymore. I finally found how to access it by clicking on the qustion mark to the top right, which is easy enough, but it was not directly apparent. The question mark was very easy to look over. I believe it would be a whole lot nicer if you still incorporated the search box for help instead of just a question mark icon. This could make it easier for new Word user's to find help quickly from the program without searching all over the place. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. Word 2007 should make the Help feature more apparent
Hi Naca,
Be sure to send your Office 2007 comments and suggestions directly to the Microsoft Office team by using the feedback tool from the link below. F1 will still bring up the help files (the default created in Lotus 1-2-3 a long time ago g). Some of the suggestions made regarding the 2007 help icon so far are Have the word 'Help' next to the question mark icon. Make the question mark icon larger. Move the question mark away from the close document button. ========= "naca777" wrote in message ... I am beta testing Word 2007. Let me first say it looks excellent, so good job Office team.
