I have a document in which the header appears on every page. I only
want the header to appear on page 1 of the document and nowhere else.
The instructions I find don't seem to wrok. How do you do it?

On the Layout tab of Page Setup, check the box for "Different first page."
Cut the header content from the Header and paste it into the First Page
Header.
