Default Page too wide

I have cut and pasted a word document I received via email that prints
perfectly in its original format which is 8 1/2 x 11. I saved the document
and have modified it on my laptop and it automatically shrinks the text and
adds 2-3 inches on the right margin. I have adjusted the margin settings,
etc however nothing changes.

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
