I was wondering how do I make this document editable?

This is a password-protected file. Without knowing the password you would
have to find some way of hacking into it.

Yes, you could save the file as a Word document and edit it, if it weren't
password protected. Should you need to edit it, you would need to know the
password and then republish it to the Web, I would think.

If you've been contracted to do this by the author, I would suggest
contacting him/her and requesting that access.

I was able to make an editable version that looked similar to the original.
The "however" part (and you knew there would be one) is that I had to use
two other programs to do so. And neither of these programs are free or
shareware.

I think I'll have to support what Karen suggested. Contact the author for
permission to edit.

All it takes is a couple of lines of VBA but if you have authority you
should have been given the password and if you haven't then you shouldn't be
doing it.
