find and replace
I have a table with 1,200 rows. Each row of the table already has a sentence similar to Smith v. Jones Exhibit #__. Is it possible to place a sequence field in the replace dialog box? Or What's the fastest way to accomplish this? Thanks for this and all of your past help! |

IG,
Create your seq field and copy it to the clipboard. In the replace dialog box enter ^c Replace all, then update fields. -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP See: http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/word_tips.htm For some helpful tips using Word.
