When using words or Publisher and creating a document from a template. I
always get an extra sheet of paper in the middle. I only want 1-sheet with
print on outside & outside of document.

How do I set up to have a 1 page document?

What type of template are you using? Flyers are only one page.
If the template has two pages, delete page two.
