Default Does the Legal Squiggle § that means section have a name?

I appreciate the info from Greg and Ace_it above, but forgot to ask if the
legal squiggle § that means Section has a name and if there is a place to
get the name of it and other symbols--often the names are long words not
used commonly in conversation.
