Autotext with borderless table
Hi,
I am trying to create an auto text entry containing a borderless table. I create de borderless table, select the table and then I create the autotext entry. When I envoke the Autotext entry related to this table, Word gives my a table with borders. I tried multiple things to get it right but I failed all attempts. Does anyone know what could be the problem? -- Stefan Robert (to email: remove the numbers) |

I suspect this may have to do with what Table AutoFormat is selected as the
default in the document you're inserting the AutoText entry into. FWIW, borders are easily removed by pressing Alt+Ctrl+U anywhere in the table. -- Suzanne S. Ok,
I tried to find the way to see the default Table Autoformat is and it seems it is "Simple 1". However, the table does not get formatted with the "Simple 1" style (which has green borders) it is just completed with black borders. Is there a way to make Word not put automatic borders? Stéfan (Oh and thanks for the shortcut to make a table borderless... It will be very useful!) On 2005-06-23 19:09:18 -0400, "Suzanne S.
