Why can't I open Word files from CD or DVD? I'm the administrator.
I'm the administrator and can't open Word files (mainly pictures in Word
format) from either my CD or DVD drives. The error message says that I "don't have permission" and to contact the administrator. I'm the administrator in my Windows XP Professional operating system. Now, the "administration" part of the Word program works in my Windows 98, but not in Windows XP. I had bought the program originally for 98 and now use with my XP Professional, and everything works except for the "administrator permission" part. Where can I change user/administrator information so that I can work the programs that I bought. |
