differing versions of word affect document formatting
when sending a word document to a recipient their version becomes different
and has more pages due to the formatting running over the page creating nearly empty pages which are not in the original. is this due to margins at their end?, or the version of word they are using? can the formatting be fixed so it does not change? |

It is due, probably, to different printer drivers (even if the same
printer). http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting/TextReflow.htm If you have to maintain pagination, Word is not your program of choice for the final product.
