wrote: Hello, I am trying to create a document that has hyperlinks within the document. For example asking a question and then hyperlinking to the answer within the same document. I am trying to use the "quick parts" button to set it up, but I can't figure out what code to use. Thanks for your help!! Quick Parts is the wrong place to look. First locate the places in the document that you want the links to go to, and insert a bookmark at each place (use the Bookmark button in the middle of the Links group on the Insert ribbon). Each bookmark must have a different name. Then go to a place where you want a hyperlink, and click the Hyperlink button (just to the left of the Bookmark button). On the left side of the dialog, click Place In This Document. Click on the name of the bookmark you want this link to go to. At the top of the dialog, type in the text that should make up the hyperlink. Then click OK. Repeat for the other hyperlinks. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
