How do I remove tabs without dragging them to the left?

wrote on the subject. Assuming you mean _tab stops_ on the ruler, drag them down off the ruler. Or go to the Tabs dialog (Alt+O, T), select the one or more you don't want, and click the Clear button and then OK. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit. |
