I make highlighted track change edits in a document, plus comments, and send the document to the client as an attachment. The client's copy of the text is edited properly, but the graphic demonstration of what i have done - which does appear on my copy -- does not appear on the client's copy , on the right hand margin. My "comments" appear, in red, but the edits, which appear in red on my copy (AND on the copy i send back to myself) don't appear in the client's copy. One client simply took the "comments" and made the corrections, on his original text, thinking that i had made no corrections. .
