When typing text Style changes to Heading 1 for no apparent reason
I am keying text into a blank document and sometimes (normally after a
carriage return and then a blank line) the style changes to Heading 1 and the preceeding text is altered to have the font attributes etc of Heading 1. How do I stop this happening? I always want to to stay in NORMAL style. Thank you. -- Mike Robertson |

In the Modify Style dialog box
(http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/styl...fyAStyle.html), check the setting for "Style for following paragraph." Change it to "Normal" if necessary. -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "Mike Robertson" wrote in message ... Indeed, that would seem a more likely solution, in this case.
