header and footer tab in page setup
I used to have a "header and footer" tab in page setup but it seems to have
disappeared. I am using Word 2003. I'd appreciate any ideas on how to get this tab back. It was very useful, as there were custom headers that I could choose from. |

header and footer tab in page setup
There has never been such a tab in Page Setup (unless it was created by
custom VBA). The settings for header and footer margins are on the Layout tab of Page Setup in Word 2003. On the Header and Footer toolbar (which is displayed automatically when you are working in the header or footer, there is an AutoText menu that contains entries you may be thinking of. It is possible that there is such a tab in Page Setup in Word 2007, or you may well be thinking of Excel, which does have a Header/Footer tab in Page Setup with the functions you describe. -- Suzanne S.
