when I Insert...Object in Word, want filename to exclude full pat.
When inserting an object in Word, displayed as an icon, the full path to the
file is displayed by default. I want only the filename to appear, not the full path, as it used to do with Word 2000. Any way to change this deafult? |

Too bad you don't mention which version of Word you have, now? In mine, when I use Insert/Object there's a button labelled "Change icon". And there you can change the caption (remove the path info).
