I've read through the "what's new" help topic in 2002, but I'm trying to
figure out exactly what we might do in a Word 2002 file that is incompatible
with Word 2000. We need to create files that must be readable in Word 2000.
If anyone can identify in practicle terms what to look out for, I'd
appreciate it.

Hi Soup

For what it's worth, I have experienced few problems moving documents back
and forth between Word 2000, 2002 and 2003. But if you really really need a
document to work in Word 2000, create it in Word 2000.

That's what I would do, or create it in 2002 and then open & finalize it in
2000, except I don't have 2000.
