Not printing what I am seeing on the screen
I am using Word 2000
I have created a long document. On the screen and in "view print layout", my pages look the way I want them to print out. But when I print them out they are off by a line or two and sometimes 3. For example: Page 10 will start with a heading of "Heading1" at the top of the page. This is what I see on the screen when I view "print layout". But when I print the page, my "heading1" is at the bottom of the previous page #9. To get it to print in the right spot, I have to go back in on page 10 and add two blank lines to get it to print correctly at the top of page 10. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? Is there a setting to correct this? Please help. It is a pain to have to print the document 1 page at a time to see where everything is. Help - aurora |
