Booklet with page 1 NOT title page
I created a address directory booklet. The first page is the cover/title
page. I want the next page (which is the FIRST page of detail) to be numbered 1. When using FOOTERS and inserting page numbers it keeps numbering the top page 1 (which I delete) and then numbering the next page 2. I want the first detail page to be numbered 1, not 2. How can I do this? |

You can start numbering at 0, but note that in a booklet Word will insist on
assigning an odd number to a recto (right-hand) page and an even number to a verso (left-hand) page, so unless you're not duplexing, you'll have trouble with this numbering scheme. -- Suzanne S. I have somewhat the same problem BUT I want the 3rd page to be number 1 and
can't seem to pull it off. What do I do about this? It is in Word. Thanks. "Suzanne S. See http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Formatting...rontMatter.htm. Note that
in order to omit numbering from Section 1 (as opposed to changing the format and restarting numbering) you will need to unlink the header/footer sections (see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm). -- Suzanne S.
