Default setting a background color for a single Word doc page?

Is it possible to set the background color for a single page or specific
pages of a word doc? All I can find is how to set the background color for
the entire document. I need to highlight certain pages of a report as
"future material included for reference only" and other ways of doing this
don't seem to be very visually distinguishing.

The backgrounds colour function is aimed at HTML documents, which don't
support pages. You could instead set a full page filled text box with its
wrap option set to 'behind the text'. To select such a text box later use
the white arrow selector on the drawing toolbar. Most printers are incapable
of printing to the edge of the page - whether it be for a background or text
box.

Great! That does the trick. Thanks for the explanation and the solution!

Does this have anything to do with the thread you have posted into?
Can you explain the problem and include the Word version?
