formatting cell for currency in word table
Why isn't it possible to specify a format for a cell when you create a table
in Word. i.e. in Excel, a cell can be formatted to automatically recognize the data as currency and place the appropriate character ($) in front of the number. In Word, if you create a table, you cannot format the contents of the cell in the same way. It seems you have to insert an Excel spreadsheet in order for the feature to be available. |

formatting cell for currency in word table
If Word could do everything Excel can do, there would be no need for Excel.
