Where is the auto sum or sum function found for automatically totalling
figures in tables please? |

Where is the sum function
With the selection in the cell where you want the sum to appear, select
Formula from the Tables menu in Word 2003 and earlier or from the the Data section of the Table Tools Layout tab of the Ribbon in Word 2007 and in the Formula dialog that appears, select Sum from the Paste function drop down. Or, press Ctrl + F9 to insert a pair of field delimiters { } inside of which type { = Sum(above) } Press Alt+F9 to toggle off the display of the field code -- Hope this helps.
