how do put text in the left margin of a bulleted document?
i have word 2000. i want to put text in the left margin of the bulleted
document and it wont let me click over there. if i mve the tabs the whole document moves. what do i do? |

Use a textbox or a frame.

Two quick possibilities come to mind:
1. Use a Text Box, with the layout "in front of text" if you just need to put text in the margin on occasion. 2. If you have a lot of marginal text, set up you document as a two-column table, with your bulleted list in the right column and your marginal text in the left column.
