New versions of Word and Excel
Earlier versions of Word have not allowed long Excel spreadsheets,
whether embedded or linked, to traverse multiple Word pages. Is that still true in 2003? 2007? Anyone know if that limitation will continue? |

New versions of Word and Excel
An OLE object cannot span multiple pages in any version of Word.

New versions of Word and Excel
.... And it isn't peculiar to Word - there are any number of programs whose
document structure cannot enable OLEs to span a page break. If you need to do this you can insert the Excel content as a Word Table rather than as an object, but if that isn't acceptable some other software is your best bet - I wouldn't expect to see that enabled in Word until there is a dramatic revision (or replacement) of OLE in Windows.
