Blank page layout..
I must have inadvertently clicked on something and I cannot restore this -
Whenever word was opened and a new blank page was opened, the white new page would be in the middle of the screen with a good chunk of grey at either side. All my saved documents are like this, but now I've opened up Word to create another document and the white new page where you type, is massive with hardly any grey at either side (hope this makes sense). The margins along the top are exactly the same but I prefer it how it used to be. Can anyone let me know how to re-set it please? |

Blank page layout..
It is ok! I messed about and found in the View tab, the Zoom function was
set at something like 144%. I have reset it to 100% and all is well again. Blank page layout..
Okay, I have a similar problem but different lol.
I must have inadvertently clicked on something and I cannot restore this - Whenever word was opened and a new blank page was opened, the white new page would be in the middle of the screen with a good chunk of grey at either side. All my saved documents are like this, but now I've opened up Word to create another document and the white new page where you type, has jumped over to the left. I cannot see how to reset it back so the new blank page is square in the middle. The view tab, zoom is set at 100% so its not hat. Can anyone advise please? Thanks "laceyjo" wrote: It is ok! Blank page layout..
No, only displaying one page. The LH rules used to be over to the right a
bit so the blank page was bang in the middle. Now the page is hard over to the left with the LH rulers hard at the left with no grey shadings on the ruler. The RH ruler has a bit of grey shading at towards the end. The entire ruler used to be in the middle of the page. How can this be restored? "Suzanne S. Blank page layout..
Ordinarily there is no (vertical) ruler on the right, so I'm assuming you're
talking about the horizontal ruler? Could it be that you're just in Normal view instead of Print Layout? -- Suzanne S.
