cannot modify footer in word doc
i am working on a document where i cannot enter the footer to make
modifcations. the header is visible and can be modified. the footer is not visible (although it is supposed to exist, at least it did in previous versions). however clicking on the icon to go from header to footer has no effect. can anybody give advice? what can be wrong? /thx in advance Walter ps: i am using Word97, SR2 |

Good point. If the footer (not bottom) margin were set to 0", you might not

Actually, it's equally true that if the bottom margin were too small, you
might not be able to see the footer, but if the footer margin is the default 0.5", it will override the bottom margin. -- Suzanne S.
