Footer Printing Problems
Hi - I'm running MS Word 2002, and have a saved document with a simple
1-line footer, TNR 12 pt. I'm getting very inconsistent printing results for this document - sometimes the footer is fine, sometimes it's cut in half, sometimes it's almost completely cut off. I don't know if the problem is page set-up or printer-related, although I'm not experiencing any other problems with the printer, an HP940c. I'm not sure I understand the relationship between the page set-up settings for bottom margin and "footer from edge" settings so that they are not in conflict with each other. If someone can recommend a good setting for these two values, I would appreciate it. My printer shows a minimum bottom margin spec of .46", but my document does not have any particular requirements for printing close to the bottom. I would like to have the footer reasonably close to the bottom, but I would prefer to get it everytime I print. G Thanks for your help. |
