Default modifying the thesaurus

Is there any way to modify the suggestions for the thesaurus in word 2000?
It won't even give suggestions for "black". I'd like to add a few.

Default modifying the thesaurus

No, the Office thesaurus isn't customizable at all. Try an on-line
thesaurus, such as http://thesaurus.reference.com.
