Default checklist

This is probably pretty basic, but I haven't been able to figure this out:

I need to create an interactive checklist that prints only the items
selected via a checkbox or some other control. Ideally, user would check
off the items needed, and list would display/ print only the items checked -
without blanks in between selected items.

Suggestions?

Jay, Thank you for the reply. I can see how that solution would be useful to
expand or contract text. However, I'm looking for one that would allow a
user to check off a "to do" type checklist, and when the item is checked, it
disappears (whole row is deleted - including the response field?). Seems to
me that it should be a pretty basic thing, but eludes me.

This sounds like something that would more logically be done in Outlook.

Thank you Suzanne. Yes, if it were really a simple task list, perhaps
Outlook. However the lists contain several form fields. This part of a
large Word form template.
