If there an easy way to split a 415 page document?

Likely, he shouldn't NEED to split the document. Word docs can be a lot more
than 415 pages long. Open a Word doc and hold down the Ctrl+Enter keys
until you get bored. How many pages? The file size is what's important and
as long as the computer is fairly new, I wouldn't get concerned unless it
pushes 30 or 40 MB. But documents don't usually get this big unless they
have graphics in it that ought to be compressed.
